Which DCU giant should I take on next, I wonder. I have a spot available in my roster at jla_watchtower. I have been trying to spread the characters I play around the alphabet - a list can be seen here :

http://the-ambush-bug.livejournal.com/1349.html#cutid1

I could bring L-Ron or the Question in. I already play them elsewhere. L-Ron doesn't have a lot of compelling story opportunities, though, and I play two characters who are close to the Question, so that would lead to a lot of talking to myself.

The remaining letters are EFHJMNOTUVWXYZ.

Some possibles, and the pros and cons -

ETA: None of the above. I opted for Jay Garrick, The Golden-Age Flash, taking the 'F' spot in my list.

At marvel_mansion, I play :

At whedonverse_rpg, I play :

At exileselseworld, I play :

At jla_watchtower, I play :

At after_impact, I play :

At large in the Nexus communities, I may play any of the above, and also :

I try to be a little punny with my journal names, that much should be obvious. It's pretty obvious which ones I inherited from other players - Spidey, Reed, Riddler, and Kid Flash.

Wow, there are an awful lot of smartasses in that list. ;)

He's appearing at a fundraiser at Chaney's Bar in conjunction with the Crisis plot (alongside Richard Dragon, another DC muse of mine):

And last, but not least, he's trying to rehabilitate the KGBeast, here :

Vandal Savage's latest shenanigans come to an end - or DO they? - over here :

And I'm temping evil genius T.O. Morrow over here :

Nothing going on for Herc, Thanos, Rick Jones, Quasar, Reed Richards, or Jamie Madrox in my Marvel Squad; haven't popped up with Blackadder or Dr. Venture in the Nexus for a while; and on the DC side, Ambush Bug, Calculator, Kid Flash, Invisible Kid, L-Ron, Question, and Hal Jordan sit relatively inactive, though most of them have appeared somewhere in the last month.

I may have too many characters. ;)

Blue Beetle, on jla_watchtower
http://community.livejournal.com/jla_watchtower/tag/blue+beetle

Adopted as of April 6th, 2006

Prior History : Ted's heart condition had begun to cut into his life of crime-fighting; though he acted in Justice League meetings and served rotations on monitor duty, much of his time was spent at home, playing video games or engaging in other distractions. Aside from his ex-JLI comrades, he struck up a tentative romance with Shayera Thal (which was terminated by Katar Hol's return from the dead) and found an offbeat friendship with Vic Sage, AKA The Question.

Recent History : Ted has launched himself back into crimefighting through the use of a robotic avatar, which he controls through a kind of electronically-simulated telepathy. After a raid on a STAR Labs facility by Dr. Light's Monster Society, which Ted helped to contain, he rejoined the Justice League as an active member. As a result of his return to crimefighting, his mood and confidence are both much improved.

Current and Future Plans : Ted is involved as the object of Harley Quinn's demented affections in Too Much of a Good Thing, after helping to save her life after Deathstroke cut her throat. He is also currently working on some side projects - he's hoping to produce a similar robotic avatar for Oracle, to act as a home-security supplement. A recent scuffle in which his own avatar was damaged left him with the conclusion that he needs some kind of a back-up unit.

Ted Kord : Upcoming plot with Harley and Ivy; possibly some minor role in Dr. Light stuff.

Bart Allen : Dialogue with Robin and Superboy. Possibly some minor role in Dr. Light stuff.

Stranger : Possibly a cameo in the upcoming Spectre stuff, if that happens.

Lyle Norg : Appearing in my own Seeds of Eternity plot. Soon to refit JL Satellite.

Ambush Bug : 'Urban Renewal' miniplot. Working with Amelia Zukov, too. Upcoming Ambush Bug Presents.

Calculator : Small bit parts in Dr. Light thing; upcoming chaos in the society. Supposed to kidnap Savant, sometime - when?

Richard Dragon : Major Martial Arts tournament idea.

Secret Villain : Already have a couple of nifty notions to follow-up his role in the Light plot and Seeds of Eternity.
